DeVault comes to CarterBaldwin from a leading career management firm, where he served as Senior Vice President of Global Account Development. In this position he developed high level relationships among senior leaders in Fortune 100 companies and prestigious global organizations including Siemens, Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), UPS, Dell, Pepsi Bottling and Philips to name just a few.
Walt has worked extensively with senior management and human resource leaders in the areas of career transition, executive coaching, leadership development, talent recruitment and change management. He has had extensive experience in international business development in both Europe and Asia as a founding member of a global accounts team in 2001.
His significant area of expertise focuses on expanding CarterBaldwin’s depth among Fortune 100 clients particularly among the “C” level executives in the fields of Consumer Goods, Industry and Communications.
Prior to joining CarterBaldwin, DeVault helped take Adams Golf Corporation through a very successful IPO while working to improve sales at a record pace and maintain an unprecedented 87% employee retention rate. He was also an executive for over a decade with Brinks Security in Dallas, Texas and nurtured and sold three successful start-up ventures during his 36 year business career.
Mr. DeVault hails from Knoxville, Tennessee where he earned a degree in marketing while playing baseball and soccer for the University of Tennessee. He is also an active member of the Atlanta chapter of SHRM, The American Marketing Association, conducts mission work in the Middle East, and is a proud father of four and grandfather of two. |
